in december of 2022, gold miners found a cavern filled with strange crystals deep within the mines of California. this discovery brings about the merging of two worlds: remnant and earth. However, even if the two worlds  combined as one, the unity between remnantians and terrans are questionable due to old opinions, history and beliefs. 

so it's only a matter of time for the leaders of the combined worlds discuss on how they should proceed on without breaking out a full scaled war on all sides.All Rights Reserved

Remnant, 2024. Remnant is the main setting of the RWBY series. Created by The Gods long ago, it is a future-fantasy world filled with airships, gadgets, high-tech weaponry and a form of natural energy called Dust existing side by side. The four Kingdoms of Remnant are Vale (center), Vacuo (west), Atlas (north) and Mistral (east). Each of the Kingdoms has its own distinct culture - for example, Atlas was known for its martial nature and technological advancement, and Vacuo for its rough-and-tumble lifestyle. Vale was located on the continent called Sanus, with Vacuo on its opposite end. Mistral is on the continent of Anima. Atlas was on the continent of Solitas. Vytal is the name of the island to the north of Vale. Other known landmasses include Menagerie, the continent to the bottom right. Rubicon, 2025. A mysterious new substance called "Coral" was discovered on the remote planet, Rubicon 3. As an energy source, this substance was expected to dramatically advance humanity's technological and communications capabilities. Instead, it caused a catastrophe that engulfed the planet and the surrounding stars in flames and storms, forming a Burning Star System. Almost half a century later, Coral has resurfaced on Rubicon 3, a planet now contaminated and sealed off by the catastrophe. Extra-terrestrial corporations and resistance groups fight over control of the substance. The player infiltrates Rubicon as an independent mercenary and finds themselves in a struggle over the substance with the corporations and other factions. Coral, A Bide With Rubicon! Forged In Ash, We Stand As One!

In 2225 after a malfunction with a UNSA ship humanity discovered a world known as Remnant, home to humans, a human-like race known as the Faunus, and monsters known as Grimm. The UNSA, after learning of its history, formed an alliance with Remnant and welcomed it into the UNSA interplanetary sphere. You're a member of SCAR, SATO's Naval Special Warfare Group who's recently been stationed on Remnant to garrison the planet, and defend it from any extra-solar threats. And that threat does indeed come when the Settlement Defense Front, under new leadership, arrives. *This is loosely based on both Infinite Warfare and RWBY*
