This is my own original story sort of... I was really wanting to make my own og story after I posted 3 chapters of Jak and Daxter , so here it is , The Mega Dimension. It may be a little similar to Neptunia and maybe GGO.. I couldn't think of anything creative with the genre sooo yeahhh.. but it will have original characters. This story takes place in Silver Terminal where there are mostly normal humans , AI , Robots and Guards. Humanity once stood on the top of the world. They ruled the planet with an iron grip. Their rise in technology, industry, engineering, and science were quickly growing. However, an invasion on a worldwide scale had occurred in late 2023. Though there were initial successes in repelling these unknown, mechanical entities. They would eventually start to gain ground through quick adoption of newer variants of their beings and adjusting to counter common military tactics. However, more was needed, so came the introduction of Nikkes, an experimental female soldier that would be the first cybernetic frontline soldier. Even though there were attempts of converting males to such a task, they would become unsuccessful, as it was found out that males were more susceptible to cognitive dissonance and suicide. And so, females ranging from 18 to 30 years of age would remain the main source of Nikkes. As the war raged on, more variants of Nikkes would reinforce or replace the quickly diminishing forces of the world. There would be a significant breakthrough in the Nikkes, with the introduction of the Grimm models of Nikkes. Five Nikkes would be produced by a now defunct company. This squad would be called Goddess. They would be commanded by a special forces Captain Nicholas Miller, and through their first missions, they would further prove the effectiveness of specialized Nikkes and even push the Raptures back some. However, even their efforts would not be enough to stop the tithe of Raptures from encompassing Europe. After many years of fighting, there was one last desperate defense of a structure known as the Ark. Unfortunately, humanity would end up underground where they would spend the next 5 centuries fighting the raptures in smaller scale battles, skirmishes, and special operations. All while the fates of Goddess squad and the now legendary Captain Nicholas Miller had remained a mystery.

But one day, he found out the hard way that the giant beasts are getting stronger and evolving. He soon realizes that in order to keep up his fight, he too must evolve. After a fight with a particularly strong beast, he sits and rests in a secluded forest, hoping to regain his strength and repair. But suddenly, he hears a small and feminine voice call to him.
