Havilah exhales deeply and slides onto the bathroom floor. She couldn't stare at the mirror any longer and her puffy eyes and pale skin were starting to make her nauseous. She held the bottle of oxy so tight she nearly crushed it. Slowly, she glided the blade over the previous scar and listened to the blood dripping on the floor.
There it was at last.
The emotion she wanted to feel.
Pain.
And suddenly she was numb again.
What if....
Never mind. I wouldn't be missed, she thought.
Opening the bottle, she popped the last ten pills into her mouth.
