"All around us it is silent, the snow falls in soft flakes and for a moment I feel as if the earth has stopped turning. I feel his hands on the fabric of my coat as they leave my arms and come to rest on my shoulders. His gaze turns upwards over our heads and I follow the path of his eyes with mine. Cold flakes wet my heated face, melting immediately before they get the chance to caress my skin longer. An image solidifies in my mind, a kiss as soft and pure as the first snow of the year. And before I can think long about my actions and the consequences, I place my lips on those of the beautiful stranger in front of me and steal my first kiss with a man."
