Izuku Midoriya is a good kid. A great kid, in fact. He's saved two little kids from big time villains, defeated Hero Killer Stain, and survived two villain attacks in only his first year at UA, the top hero school in the country. You wouldn't expect him to have three part-time jobs, an impossibly sick mother, and to live in a dingy gang infested neighborhood, working himself to the bone just for dinner. You wouldn't expect him to make money by doing street performances with a break dancing group, or winning bets with the many gangs in the neighborhood. You certainly wouldn't expect the hero-in-training to commit petty theft to provide for the four other poor families that live on his street. But it's all true. He lives in a poor neighborhood where no one has a decent job and there isn't a single hero, not even an underground one. The kids there have only been to the city once or twice, and none of them have parents. One girl does, and was left there willingly. They regularly have to fight off the vermin trying to take their food, and consider a single dollar a fortune. This is Izuku's home. and, if his teacher doesn't find out what's going on soon and save him, it may be his deathbed. I mean, is it really his fault a piece of the ceiling crashed onto his legs and completely shattered them? Disclaimer: I do not own Boku No Hero Academia. Izuku Midoriya had enough from life, everyone was telling him how useless he was. His mother stopped looking at him. His best friend bullies him. He had no one who cares about him or so he thought. "Thank you for saving me, you are a great hero, I won't do this again. I promise! Can you unbind the scarf now?" He chose his words carefully and gave the sleep-deprived hero the brightest fake smile he could offer. "I am really fine! You can now go and continue your hero work." "You don't look fine!" .... A villain must not always be a villain. In this case however, the death of countless people are haunting Izuku Midoriya the number 3 villain in Japan. He was known and earned the place due to how wicked and unpredictable he himself is. However as time goes, this villain started regretting all the deaths as he was haunted by nightmares. Too bad that the villain group he is in has no interest in helping him at all. In fact, they would rather throw him away. With nothing left in his life but regret, he decided to do the one thing left to do. His life was after all meaningless after what he did. All that was left for him was regret. One late night, after working himself to exhaustion, Izuku is found at his breaking point, feverish and alone, by pro-hero, UA teacher, and future father-figure Eraserhead. Will the world be able to look beyond the lack of a quirk and see this boy as a hero? With the help of his new friends in Class-1A and All for One at large, Izuku's quirklessness might be exactly what they need to fix everything. . . . . With his dreams shattered and his future seeming to be lost, Izuku Midoriya runs. He ran away from police custody before they even knew what to do with him and lived off the streets. He didn't know what to do. His mother dead and his source of stability gone, he looses his will to anything but keep fighting. Most people would turn to villainy after this, always searching with vengeance and an anger that could never be tamed. But Izuku isn't most people. He couldn't bring himself to hurt people so he decided he'd be a hero, just not by title. His heart has always longed to save those in need, after all.
