Summer Wars Movie Review

This movie shows that game is not just “a game” but more than just a game. The story is about Kenji a typical high school boy who does not believe in his self. One day a popular girl named Natsuki offer Kenji a part time job. Kenji has no idea that his part time job will be pretending as Natsuki’s fiancé. As they arrive to the hometown of Natsuki for the 90th birthday of her great grandmother, Natsuki introduce Kenji as her fiancé. Many members of the family are there because they know that Granny is very ill that they think it could be her last birthday. During the dinner a familiar face showed up to join the family’s dinner unfortunately this man is not that welcome to the family his name is Wabisuke, after betraying the family and get all their money to go to America he sure know how to make an impact to the family. After that dinner Kenji couldn’t sleep then, he received a text message that is just full of numbers using math he crack the code and send it back to the sender of the text message. Unknowingly Kenji’s account in OZ was hacked and used by someone to hack the system of Japan and cause destruction to the country. Many user of OZ cannot open their email and other services because of the destruction occurred and Kenji was blamed by this destruction. The truth is an AI or artificial intelligence called the “Love Machine” was behind this entire malfunction of the system. This love machine is designed for hacking and it love to play game. Due to the news where Kenji was in the family of Natsuki wants Kenji to be arrested, so they bring him to the jail apparently because of the malfunction of the system in the entire Japan traffic so heavy. Many people rely their lives to the OZ to do everything that why even the water pipes, the fire rescue, and other communication was affected by this error.
