Claudia's family friend, Eden, is a drug addict. Before Claudia moved to Los Angeles, and eventually ended up living with Finneas, Claudia lived with Eden in New York. Once Claudia moved away, it was left up to Eden to pay the rent and keep herself safe. While Claudia thinks Eden has been clean and has been recovering, Eden hasn't been. And after Eden's incident with Billie one summer, Eden hasn't visited Claudia since. Except for this summer. This summer was different. Through the raging tension between Billie and Eden, and Eden's "hidden" addiction, this summer was definitely going to be memorable.
