The four clans of a redwood valley have been prospering for generations, upholding the warrior code and living in general peace, until now, something dark is brewing, and the four clans may be at the center of it all.

Rattail is a strong warrior, training his apprentice Halfpaw, despite his rogue beginnings he's treated kindly in Caveclan. He may be a bit prone to trouble, but he has a good heart and would never do anything malicious on purpose. After a particularly rough border skirmish with a seemingly starving Twigclan he's left to ponder if anything he's done is even worth it in the face of the warrior ancestors of Starclan. 

Is his work for his clan in vain when all of he opinions of Starclan are stacked against him? 

When he messes up once and suddenly he's condemned to pay for an accident?

What will become of Caveclan when a prophecy sets up a rolling effect of torment and loss? What will become of the clans themselves?

But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either. Pounceheart is always treating him like some helpless kit and he worries he'll never be able to complete his warrior assessment. Being a healer who suffers from severe anxiety isn't easy, but Twitchpaw knows as long as her mentor is there, she can get through it. But as tensions rise between FlameClan and CliffClan, she's worried about the future ahead of them.
