( This is my first fanfic so don't judge me pls- I prewrote two chapters but then I figured it'd be easier to do updates, this is a sasunaru book but I haven't decided on a ship for our boy Shikamaru.  Lemme know what you want.)

I decided to write this story because I could never find a Shikamaru x Ino fanfic that truly resonated with me. While I do ship Temari and Shikamaru, as well as Sai and Ino more, I found it frustrating that there weren't any compelling fanfics featuring this pairing. So, I took matters into my own hands and created my own! This is my first time even writing a fanfiction so if you see any errors, I am so sorry and please let me know so I can fix them. Feel free to give me your criticism so I know how to be better in the future. Also: If a sequel is written, expect a mix of drama shake things up. (I'm not too sure if I'm going to keep it as Ino x Shikamaru but rather throw some sai x ino or temari x Shikamaru), but I'm not there yet so you'll see.
