My name is Adalia Palmer, and I am completely irrelevant in the story I wanted to tell. Now, he on the other hand, is the entire story. Carter McDowell.  

My Name is Carter McDowell, now I know everyone is just dying to hear about my boring life in Caspel, Vermont and whatever, but I'm not planning on telling that story, I'm telling hers, Adalia Palmers.

It was a rainy day in January when the story starts, cold and wet, an unsuspecting, blonde haired senior managed to get himself stuck in his multi-personality ridden science partners locked door. He never would have imagined that his science partner had done him a favor.

It was a dreary day In Caspel, Vermont when a blue eyed senior found her way blocked by a disgruntle Mark Smith, causing her to take a different route to the parking lot. Never in her wildest dreams would she imagine where that one moment got her.
