This is the record of the Alchemist Fautinus Turner Flamel of the 19th century. Self Proclaimed inheritor of Flamel's will- a dubious alchemist during the 14th-15th century. 

From an abandoned child in an orphanage, riddled with bad luck, accused of being a vampire - this is a tale of a man who would rise to become one of the world's greatest alchemists and magic scientists.
