Jamie is home in Victoria BC after a knee surgery. He isn't in the best mood since he's heatbroken after a break up with his longtime girlfriend. His sister is sick of his mood and knows that he has an eye for her next door neighbor Maggie, the Swedish nurse that works at General Hospital. His sister saw, at her barbecue party last summer, that there were chemistry between them. So she set them up and it didn't take long for them to find this special connection that they both have been searching for.
