The land of Alagrava is suffering under the tyranny of the shadow elves. The fate of the entire elven race lies in the hands of a human girl. And elves are dying off without magic. Ivy is beaten by her foster mom and is constantly seeking comfort from the warmth of the sun. She longs for the day she turns 18 and can get out of the house. At school one day, the strange new boy walks in. Nobody else notices anything amiss, but she can see past his glamour to what he really is. And it terrifies her. Because he is not human. Ivy is thrown into the world of elves and magic without realizing it. And even worse, the entire elven race depends on her to banish the shadow elves and restore the magic of the land.
