Brodie is the girl no one associates themselves with, partly because their parents warned them not to, and partly because she won't let you get any closer than arms length. The only people who ever got close to her broke her heart, and why would she let someone do that again?
But, things don't always go as planned. Especially not in Brodie's case. Despite how desperate she is to make sure no one breaks through her seemingly bulletproof walls, they're not as strong as she thinks. Especially when someone's already broken them once.

Jace is a closeted gay male who is hiding himself from his heavily strict parents who don't believe that people are born gay. Rayne is a biromantic asexual who is happily open with her friends but at home shes quiet and scared of who she is, a child of divorce she constantly blames herself for her parents divorcing when she was 10.
