The main character is unable to hold onto any form of relationship and knows not why. At the point where a life relationship is on the point of collapse, the search begins to find where his life went wrong, where feelings and emotions disappeared. And where the ability to hold a relationship was strangled. The journey of repair and moving forward also starts at the point of near collapse. The pain received and given by the main character is laid bare. It is a journey which at its conclusion nearly complete.
