The invader

Written in 1st person pov.

Ameila is a girl who lives in NYC, she was abused by her father and her mother. Ameila has done nothing wrong but she can get confused with who she is really meant to be. One day she goes "missing" but in reality she has just gone to live on the streets. She hides herself from the world because of her family. She left at the age of 15, and ever since she has not been able to take care of herself. Hiding from cops, hoping that she will never half to go back.
One day that changes when she meets mirror. Mirror is a 17 year old girl who has been living on the streets since she was 12. Ameila has grown ever since. She made her-self a home, a place where she belongs. This place is called the material. The material is a place where all those who are left behind, forgotten, find each other. It might not look like much, to the survivors it's more than just a place but a family.
Ameila has just turned 18, thinking her life as an adult will be all she dreams of but everything goes wrong after the attack. The attack was not for NYC, but specifically meant for the survivors. I won't say whether they win or they lose but Ameila is taken by these invaders and brought to their headquarters for reasons unknown. Ameila soon meets the one person she might truly feel for, and he might have met the one person he has been looking for all his life. It takes a while for Ameila to warm up, I mean through the things she has been through who wouldn't.
