This story, however, is... certainly something you might enjoy. Satisfying characters, Percy's mom is badass, Percy actually experiences grief, a more diverse cast of characters-what's not to love?
This is a reimagining of Percy Jackson--a sort-of correction.
(Third person perspective, follows the main plot, Percy's POV)

A PJO/MR Crossover (Sidenote: I wrote this story when I was 16. It is kind of cringey and cliche, so read at your own risk) During a date with Annabeth after the Giant War, mysterious men kidnap Percy Jackson. Injured and near death, the two are caught under a plot orchestrated by an all powerful god seeking revenge. This story starts after The Blood of Olympus, so it will have more adult themes in terms of violence. Also, this is a loosely based crossover in some ways. There will be more plots centering around Percy Jackson. Might be some MA violence, but I'm not sure where that line is to cross. Just be warned! Nico di Angelo is finally happy. He's learning to accept himself for his sexuality and as a son of Hades. After everything horrible that has happened to him, he's slowly getting better with the help of Will and his friends. Will Solace finally got the boy of his dreams. The boy he had a crush on since he was 11 years old. He's starting to realize that he isn't as useless as he thinks he is, and that he's actually worth something. Everything is going great for a while. But just like it always is for demigods, nothing good ever lasts. The death of Nico's first and closest friend Jason Grace puts a sudden end to the sunshine that currently brightens Nico's life for once. His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma. Will Nico be able to make it through this without his mental stability completely breaking once and for all? Will Nico be able to let people in enough to help him get through it? And what about the mysterious dreams that Nico keeps having of his mom? And who really is this little girl that knows nothing about her past? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride.
