Caspian has always been a runner. She travels full time, lives on the road, is a successful actress, and has a dark side to her. When her sister announced her engagement and asks Caspian if they can have an engagement Party on her friend's cruise ship; Caspian cannot wait to agree. When a terrible storm hits and drags Caspian and her family into an ocean sinkhole they are sent to an unfamiliar realm. Caspian starts having visions and even meets a person she's seen before in her dreams. Caspian has no intention on getting home but she will do whatever in her power to protect her family and get them home safely.

It doesn't end well... In fact, it almost never ends well when a prophecy is defied and when laws are broken. It is tradition, it is an unbreakable and irrevocable tradition. He doesn't attack Caspian but seeks out the one thing that would not only wreck Caspian but the entire werewolf clan. He seeks out the girl...the last Amaris blooded human. Daphne of course was clueless about her family origins.
