Crescent Bloodfang (Cress Fang) was kidnapped along with her twin Terrance (Terry) at a young age. They grew up living with a human couple, one didn't know what they were, and the other was trained to kill them.

Terrance had been dragged away from his friends by his twin sister, where Alex found them behind the bush. Since that day he's hated her and vowed to never consider her his sister again.

Neither knew what was ahead of them.

Terry growled softly, which should've been impossible for the humans surrounding us to hear, except one boy in particular looked at us studiously. The boy had artfully ruffled brown hair that matched his soft, curiosity filled brown eyes. He looked to be around my age, maybe a bit older, and it was clear he'd heard Terrance's threat.

"Alright..." I mumbled softly, quickly averting my gaze to study the cracks in the pavement while my twin led the way inside the school building and to the principals office.

I wondered what about me made the boy stare, and if I wanted to find out.
