In this short story, Edward Fernsby iii has lived for centuries as an immortal being called 'The Eternal Assassin' destined to kill for the sake of others. As he approaches the loss of his humanity, after years of heartless murder, a young girl shows up with hopes to help him regain his lost memories, and uncover the secrets of his past, to learn more the mysterious death of his lover. Will he ever find the truth about his past? Will the young girl be able to save him and help him find peace before he loses his centuries long battle with the curse of immortality?
