Basilio "Shooting Star" Cruz is a Filipino-American hockey player, who was recruited by Mr. Tibbles to play for Team USA. 

He traveled from Queens to Minnesota, to play with a team called Mighty Ducks and other players from different teams. Let's just say Basilio didn't expect friendship, drama, and  hint of love.
