This story is about a struggling bond between two lovers that is not so easily broken. Mia and Ethan seem to run into problem constantly with the rent, money for food, and bills. It seems that life is taking its toll until Mia ends up getting a job that may help them out, but that all ends when her husband comes home to tell her that he was going to fight in the military.

Her world comes crashing down around her because shes to scared to let her husband go off and fight for their country. While Ethan already made his decision to go, Mia is left alone waiting for her husband to return. 

As for her new job the boss sees that she is struggling with something and tries to comfort her in other ways then one. He soon finds out that she is married and that he is falling in love with her by the second. Mia seems to be pulled towards her new boss while her husband is gone.
