Jinx Havoc is a highschool boy who has a real talent for getting into trouble. The attention seeking boy has just transfered into a new school, immediately liked by all his classmates, which is normal for him really since he was pretty attractive and can be a real class clown at times, of course that would change when he started getting board and decided to annoy his fellow classmates for fun. That's a whole nother topic though. The problem is a small boy that goes by the name of Ryder in his class that seems to not even give the attention craving Jinx a second glance. The boy seemed to always be alone and maybe even like it that way, which was unthinkable to the new transfer student, maybe he could change that, he seemed to he infatuated with getting through that thick shell the boy seemed to have. Well it might of worked out if Ryder hadn't committed suicide only a month later, but what will happen when a strange twist of events gives Jinx a month to keep Ryder from taking his life?

Rory never intended to form any close friendships in his final year of high school; it was meant to be just like any of his previous years. However, when he found himself in a class with an overly hyperactive, wannabe class clown, his plans had already taken an unexpected turn for the worse...or so he thinks. And what happens when Josh Gallagher, a seemingly heterosexual 16-year-old, can't fathom the idea of what his sudden interest towards the ignorant class president could actually mean? Will the two rediscover the meaning of love in their religious town? Or will the burden of everyone around them watching result in permanent uncrossed boundaries?
