What she felt was very unconditional and raw emotion. It was words never spoken but the feelings were well known. She promised to never say them out loud, she couldn't deny it but she refused to admit it. Memories is what remains. The residue of what could've been. An almost but never was. To this day she is broken. He has been okay since the day he decided to pack their times away. 
He felt the same. Let's make that clear. He knew but to this day he chooses to act like it wasn't real.
Now all she's left with is the memories. The memories of the moments she won't, no can't, let go of. Reminiscing on a person who longer is the same way you left them. 
The heartbreak is real.
The pain unbearable.
