25 years ago, superpowers began to emerge among mankind. Disease has overtaken the world leaving all those without the vaccine by the time of their first birthday, to die. And those lucky enough to receive that scarce vaccine, an entrance to a world of chaos, disarray and greed. Until the time of their twentieth birthday, they would live with the constant threat of death, or worse, being kidnapped. So that when your power became present, they owned you.
