Based on chapter 84: An Icy Fantasy of the 100YQ manga but from a NaLu POV.
For the first time in his life, Natsu was ready to give up on a fight and remain in the world of his dreams. Everything he had secretly desired was offered to him on a silver platter in the Mugen Setsugekka, what more could he ask for?
Slight OOC. Is rated T for themes. Contains fluff. This is my first ever Fanfic, so please bear with me T.T
Disclaimer: Fairy Tail belongs to Hiro Mashima sensei, I do not own it. This fic is a NaLu version of the chapter 84, so I used a few excerpts from it.
There are 100YQ manga spoilers in this Fanfiction so *SPOILER ALERT!*

"So.." he began, shifting to look at her now instead. "Why'd you leave?" There it was, the question she had dreaded from the start. Lucy closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath. Her hand shifted just a little, pulling away from his warm one. 'Because..sometimes leaving is the only way to avoid hurting..and getting hurt.' "That, Natsu.." Lucy breathed, turning over to look at him too. 'And because I never wanted to hurt you.' "Is a story for another time."
