On the surface, Genevieve Lancaster appears like any other normal girl. She gets good grades in college, she works a small job at a local supermarket, and she keeps to herself. The only difference is that she and the rest of her family are woodland fae, having moved to the city years ago and now exist using mystical concoctions to temporarily achieve human form. Despite the flawless facade that the elixir provides, Genevieve can't help but hold the human world at arm's length. But one boy alongside her own misfortune might just change everything. ____________________________________________________________ A short G/T story. Top Rankings: - #14 giant

Sixteen-year-old Jayda Willow doesn't live on Earth. She's an orphan, living with a foster family on a distant planet named Endaria populated and ruled by giants that humans escaped to after Earth's resources were depleted. In a desperate attempt to join her mother in the detention center, Jayda burns down her foster family's house, and is brought before the overseeing giant of their human township, Marcelo Aricci, who's only a little bit older than Jayda herself. Marcelo decides to take Jayda as his own instead of sending her to the detention center-a fact that she initially resents, until she uncovers the truth behind his motives. Marcelo is part of a progressive movement that advocates for a more integrated community between humans and giants. Soon Jayda is drawn into his world and assisting him on secret missions to the capital in an attempt to start a revolution-and find her mom again, who may have been taken to the seventh moon, El Arayra. Through it all, her feelings for Marcelo grow into something Jayda never dreamed was possible, and she's forced to admit that everything she once believed about giants was wrong.
