"𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞, 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭"

Caroline Danielsen. A ray of sunshine on the outside, broken on the inside. With her dark past, she has been through hell and back. She covers it well with her happy, optimistic soul. And her sarcastic comments. Her one job in life is to make anyone else around her happy, even if that comes at a expense of her own life. And then she meets Chris Evans and her world falls to the ground around her.

Chris Evans. A miserable man. On the outside, he is cold, distant, and most often mean. Tired of every girl he has ever had, falling in love with him because of his fame. His solution to all his problems? Drinking and one-night stands. That goes for Caroline the first time they meet, but when she turns up again and he figures out how she thinks and how she acts, he goes to every length to fix her.

Caroline had no idea that she could fall so fast and so hard for someone like Chris.

"Come at me like a real man, or does your religion not allow you to spill blood?" She laughed and further lowered her lips to his ear, whispering, "You're weak and pathetic Captain." *** She was rather irritating, but had a disposition for sarcasm and wit. Fuelled by rage and past pain, one has to cover the obviousness with a bit of humour. Audrey Cecilia Embers, was a broken Christian mystery wrapped in misery. Stealing paintings was her signature style of a message to her competitors, or was it a hobby? Whatever she made it into, the objective is what will be her downfall, getting herself in a bigger mess and ending up in one of SHIELD's jails. The sweet smell of betrayal will be the outcome of this disaster, and she knows who played her. But before she can get some justice, her life spirals into a crazier direction when one family member comes back to haunt her to her grave. Amongst the mess, the assassin is faced with a difficult decision, and not only that, but she meets Captain America himself. He was a soldier in a general sense. He was regal, tall, strong-even handsome. And a gentleman. He followed the law where she broke it. He dotted his I's and crossed his T's where she wouldn't have cared. But when Audrey meets the golden boy, she doesn't like him. He's too gentle, too much about saving people, and very...patriotic. It will have to be up to her whether she can untangle the mess she got herself into or not. | completed book Cover: my own
