The wizarding population in the UK sat at around 3000 before the second wizarding war wiped out more than half of that. Voldemort may have been killed but that didn't change the fact that the wizarding world lost about 1,900 others.

Due to the extreme depletion of numbers the Ministry Of Magic made the decision to implement a new law, a marriage law. This new law stated that any unmarried citizen above the age of 17 and under 35 will be assigned a partner to marry and bare a child with after 5 years of marriage, these conditions were non negotiable.

Many were up and arms about this decision, including Y/n l/n. This was because not only was she being forced into marriage, but being forced into a marriage with her long standing enemy, and boss...

The Weasley family was just as stressed as the rest of the young population. But none more livid about the whole thing then George Weasley. "First she gets a job at our shop! Now they want us married?!"

"I hate your lips, I hate your voice, I hate the way you walk, I hate the way you say my name, I hate your beautiful face, I hate your pretty freckles, I hate your gorgeous brown eyes. I hate that everything you do, has made me fall in love with you." "What is this?" "You read my letter? The one addressed to me and not you?" "That doesn't matter right now. What matters is that it was from the hospital and addressed to my wife. I'm so sorry that I got concerned." "Don't make this a big deal, Fred, please. It's not, so don't get mad at me when I decide not to tell you this." "Alexa, this is important! Why didn't you tell me?" Alexa Davis, best friend to Jayden and Kiara Wright, has been arranged to marry Fred Weasley by her parents and his parents. Both Alexa and Fred grew up poor but were forced to have a small and cheap wedding with only a few witnesses, the four parents, and could not tell anyone else about this arrangement. They both attended Hogwarts and were on the same year, same house, same classes, but only ever spoke when they had to. That is how they have planned to do their marriage, only speaking when it is important. What happens when something traumatising leads to something life-changing? Will the couple work out? Five years after the Second Wizard War. All known characters belong to JK Rowling. All unknown characters belong to me. I do not support JK Rowling's actions or views at all. Warnings will be used at the start of each chapter that needs them. Pre-Warnings : rape / sexual assault, violence, infertility, drugs, blood and alcohol.
