Adava is sick of her obsessive parents. Raised Jewish, her parents worried she would stray from God, so they set her up with Jewish boys, which wasn't that bad, except for the fact that she was twelve. When she was sixteen, her parents pulled her out of public school, and sent her to a Jewish boarding school, all because she had her first boyfriend that wasn't Jewish. The days she turned 18, her parents began to set up arranged marriages with other Jewish family's. At 20 years old Adava has set of to college to pursue her dream of a career in Literature, despite her parents wishes of Medical school. She has a decent boyfriend and her professors are great, until she meets someone that turns her whole world upside down. Revelling in her new discoveries, Adava decides she has had enough.
