People have always associated success with stars. People have always associated everything with the stars. Since the beginning of time, there have been countless quotes and encouragements relating to those great big, burning, white hot, masses of gas in the sky. From those little golden star stickers that your kindergarten teacher gave you for not biting that kid with the crayon shoved up his nose to the little phrases. ‘Reach for the stars', ‘Count the stars’, ‘Wish upon a shooting star'. Humans associate success and well-being with something they know next to nothing about. Some stars a planets, others are galaxies. Most are burned out and dead. Back when Jesus was said to be walking the earth, they believed that when a child is born a star is placed in the sky. Some say when you die, you become a star. You shine from the skies and look down on everything below you.
Then there was this Greek Goddess. They called her Asteria.
That's also what they call me.
