People have always associated success with stars. People have always associated everything with the stars. Since the beginning of time, there have been countless quotes and encouragements relating to those great big, burning, white hot, masses of gas in the sky. From those little golden star stickers that your kindergarten teacher gave you for not biting that kid with the crayon shoved up his nose to the little phrases. ‘Reach for the stars', ‘Count the stars’, ‘Wish upon a shooting star'. Humans associate success and well-being with something they know next to nothing about. Some stars a planets, others are galaxies. Most are burned out and dead. Back when Jesus was said to be walking the earth, they believed that when a child is born a star is placed in the sky. Some say when you die, you become a star. You shine from the skies and look down on everything below you.
Then there was this Greek Goddess. They called her Asteria.
That's also what they call me.

They were born from the stars, but the world refuses to let them stay. It has been three years since the Genesis Flares, the solar phenomenon that gave birth to Astrans: beings with abilities beyond human comprehension. Some see them as miracles, others as abominations but to those in power, they are a threat that must be controlled, exploited, or eradicated. Fear spreads like wildfire, and war is inevitable. Among the displaced and the hunted, a survivor fights to carve out a future for her people, refusing to let them be erased from history. By her side stands the one who saved her, a sister in all but blood, a friend who has vowed to protect her, even if it means keeping dangerous secrets. As alliances fracture and loyalties are tested, they must navigate a world that has already decided what they are: enemies. In the heart of the conflict, two minds once dedicated to progress now wrestle with the weight of their own creations. One, a scientist bound by failing health, seeks to undo the greatest mistake of his life before time runs out. The other, an engineer thrust unwillingly into war, struggles between duty, regret, and the burden of being the only one left to fight. Lines blur between vengeance and justice, survival and sacrifice. The choices they make will determine not only the outcome of the war but the future of the Astrans themselves. Before the war, before the fear, they were all the same. They were all stardust once.

We are just a bunch of puzzle pieces that were forced together but don't really fit." When it was all said and done, they all agreed, they were never meant to win. They watched as the world around them burned, a world they fought so hard to protect. In the distance, a tall figure stood with pride watching his chaos morph into victory, there was nothing left for him to do but watch his enemies perish in the flames. . . ---------- It's the fight they have all waited for their entire lives. The New Generation is ready to defend their family, their friends, and their world from Itri who will all but destroy it if he gets the chance. They know their parent's stories were the start of a battle, but they are here to win the war, as one, as a team. They are meant to work together to defeat their enemy. Ten people united by the most unlikely circumstances, five daughters whose futures are predetermined, and only one chance to make things right. It won't be easy, they must make allies, face new enemies, rely on one another and try not to die in the process, but when new truths come to light, a divide is placed between them as their trust for each other falls apart. Once upon a time, they thought they can do anything together, but how do you change a future that has already been seen? How can you rely on someone you no longer trust? How will you save an entire universe if you can't even save yourself? You can't hope to win if you're already destined to lose. . . but then again, you can't win at all unless hope is present and that's what matters most. ********** An Aeterian Story- Final Book
