Mullingar Ireland has stories behind every hill, every hunched shoulder, and every eye. When a school shooting occurs, and everyone is caught unprepared, one student, Zayn Malik, must make a life changing decision. And that decision makes every tear that falls a little more hopeful, and every sunrise a little brighter, and every first word a little more exciting. Zayn Malik is a philosophical man, and Niall Horan just might be in love with him, and the days are full of laughter and hope, but the nights are full of gunshots and the cry of broken houses and hearts. And in the end everyone is so scared of falling behind, of getting rejected, of losing, that the only thing left is themselves, and a power within they never knew they had.
