"Fuck!" I whisper in surprise, pulling my hand back to my mouth and sucking my ring finger. The metallic taste of blood seeps into my mouth and I slowly examine the pad of my red finger. There's a shallow hole where I broke the skin, some blood still lingering there.

What the hell?

Cautiously this time, I find where I started to pull back on a hanger to see what pricked me. A broken hanger piece? A sharp metal point from the rack?

No. Not even close.

It's the shirt Danny bought, in the same olive-green color. And wrapped into its hanger is a beautiful, fresh rose, with a piece of paper taped to the top of the prickly stem.

Confused, I take the rose from the hanger and pull the note close to my eyes. It's in the same scribbled handwriting like the one I found in her locker. I read it, look at the rose, then read it again and again and again:

You two were so close. What happened? All because she killed a man? And to think... It could've been you.

Ryan Steel should have a good life. He has a good family, a beautiful girlfriend, great friends, and popularity. But none of that matters, because his best friend Danielle Green might have killed someone.
Danny disappeared in September, along with a successful young businessman known as James Wentz. After two months of finding nothing, they show up- but Danny has a gun and Wentz is dead.
Unable to resist, Ryan is sucked up into the dark secrets surrounding Danny. Did she kill Wentz? No one seems to know, except for whoever is lurking in the shadows and taunting Ryan. He quickly realizes that there is more to the story than he knows and ends up tied into the mess of the unknown, all while juggling a jealous girlfriend, drugs, gangs...
How do you defend someone when they never deny being a criminal?

Eleanor, 19, is living on borrowed time. She's continuing her studies not out of passion, but more out of survival instinct. Not because she dreams of a brilliant career, but because the idea of failing-and having to go back home-makes her sick. Home is a house full of heavy silences, unspoken blame, and above all, a mother consumed by addiction. Their relationship is an emotional minefield. Though physically distant, Eleanor is never truly free. And every call, every message from her mother threatens to pull her back into the chaos she's desperate to escape. At college, she tries to hang on. Her only support is Wallace, her best friend since middle school. Always there. Tall, protective, destined for a pro career in basketball. Wallace is steady, radiant-the complete opposite of the world Eleanor comes from. He helps her stay afloat. Keeps her from drowning. Until one day, a figure appears in a campus hallway-and everything shifts. Danny Shepard. The name alone freezes her in place. It takes Eleanor a moment to recognize him: the scrawny, furious boy she knew at sixteen has become a man. Calmer. Darker. More... unreadable. After assaulting his sports coach, Danny was sentenced to juvenile detention and vanished for four years. On his return, he was denied entry into the third year of med school. He enrolled elsewhere, at the bottom rung of the university ladder. Where Eleanor studies. And he doesn't recognize her. She, on the other hand, never forgot. The bond they shared-fragile and secret, woven during adolescence through stolen glances and charged silences-left a mark. But Danny seems to have erased her. Why? Has he truly forgotten? Or has he buried that part of his life? Eleanor senses that behind the cold mask, there's a war raging. Repressed memories. A guilt that never properly healed.

UNFINISHED ______ Y/N was released from the asylum 1 year ago, she was there since she was 13, she's now 20. It was hard at first to live in an ordinary lifestyle but she got used to it. But now that the most wanted serial killer "Issac Foster" breaks into her house, what will happen to the ordinary life she now had? Will Zack be a threat to her, a friend, or something more... ________ "I have my reasons for keeping you alive... I had my reasons yesterday, today those reasons don't apply." "Well listen up Mr. Red Eyes, this is my house so I don't need to answer any of your questions, and once again, please be careful holding your scythe so carelessly, you already broke a window." I go to the cabinet and take out the only box of cereal left and a bowl. I'm running out of food, I'll have to go grocery shopping tomorrow. Now, all I need is some milk. I face the refrigerator and take out the milk. As I walk around the kitchen preparing my cereal I can feel the boy's eyes following me around the room. "I don't get you, you're so weird." "Oh so I'm the weird one, your the one who broke into my house. Twice." I pull the drawer open and take out a spoon. Shit. I dropped it. I bend down to grab it, the problem is that I forgot I'm wearing a robe. A short robe. "Hey kitty, I'm seeing way more skin than I need to." My face begins to heat up. I turn my head to the side at the right angle so he won't see the blushing mess I am right now. Good thing I put on shorts. "You shouldn't be worried about me seeing some skin, afterall, I'm not a pervert, I'm a serial killer. And for some reason you don't seem as concerned about that than you should." ___________________________ (This story takes place before Zack met Rachel) *Characters aren't mine, credits to J.C.Staff/Makoto Sanada, hope you enjoy the story, once again credits to the original creators*

""Kitten, you're worried about something, and you cannae lie. You're picking at your hands and looking around to clean up my room. Unlucky for you, my room is very clean," he said, "Now what are you worrying about so much?" I stopped picking at my cuticles. It was kind of weird that he could see me doing something and read me like a book before I could even realize I was doing it. I felt my heart pound in my chest. "Well, it's just this whole pretending to date you thing," I shrugged, "How far do we have to take it? Do we have to do it in front of our friends? Do we have to do it in public because obviously we ran into Olivia today and we weren't planning on it. Oh shit, what if she sees you with another girl? I mean, what would happen then? What if she sees me talking to another guy? How long is this going to go on? What if we have to kiss in front of Olivia? I mean, it's not that I don't want to kiss you but--" I rambled on nervously. Iain smirked and walked towards me, and the next thing I knew, his lips were on mine, and we were kissing." When Kit's older brother, Ben, finally makes it with the girl he's been crushing on for four years, only to find out she's wary of family, he lies and calls his baby sister his best friend's girlfriend, turning everyone's life upside down. While Kit's struggling with the impending doom of college and parents that could divorce at any second, she's also juggling a fake relationship with her brother's hot best friend, Iain. As if that weren't complicated enough, a chemistry sparks between Iain, igniting flames and destroying the crumbling world around them. RATED M for drug and alcohol use and sexual themes

"How do you feel now, Morgan?" She says, more pointing something out than asking a question. She grabs hold of my wrists and tightens them. If I could see properly I could swear I see them turn purple. "I could beat you to the bone, right here, right now, till you die from your injuries. But, I won't. You will die. Maybe not today, maybe not in a month, but you will." Well, obviously I'm going to die. Humans don't live forever. "Wonder why?" "No, and I really don't care." She answers anyway. "Because we have the power, the people, and the weapons to do it. Face it, you're defenseless against us." I feel some blood flooding my mouth, so I, being a perfectly nice person, spit it in her face. That doesn't faze her at all. "I have the strength and intelligence, something you clearly don't have. Whatever y'all do to me, it won't break me. I will put up a hell of a fight before losing. I will fight, and I will win." I turn over and look at her fellow companions. "Even if I die doing it." "Is that a risk you're willing to take?" ____________________________________ 17 year old Morgan Peters is an average girl living life.
