Most of us know the story of the sorcerer Merlin and the King Arthur of Camelot. What hasn't been told is the story of how the kingdom, we all know, came to be. Before the knights of the round table, Camelot was a dark place overrun by dark sorcerers.
Merlin (The First) had lead a rather unextraordinary life for her first 16 years. That is until she travels to Camelot to work as an apprentice for kingdom's mysterious healer. It's just then that she starts to discover that she isn't as ordinary as she thought. With Arthur curious about magic, Merlin finds himself revealing his talents to the most trusted of the knights and to the prince. Together they decide that they will bring magic back to Camelot when Arthur becomes king. Also, a funny Merlin meme in every chapter. For no reason, just cause I liked them. And I don't own Merlin, obviously. Just the story.

This is a fanfiction about Merlin. Arthur and merlin were just on a hunting trip when bandits kidnapped merlin. Arthur is devastated. He is willing to do anything to get merlin back. But then a army attacked Camelot. Merlin isn't himself and he puts the one he loved in danger. Arthur has to stop merlin but how? this is after season 5 but with a different ending and Arthur doesn't know merlin has magic. It's about how merlin turned against Arthur.
