coming out and turning the corner, a huge blob almost knocks the wind out of me. shit, that was unexpected.

'oh my gosh! i'm so sorry, are you okay?' a soft accented voice asks me.

i'm startled by the collision, so it takes me a few moments to recenter myself. i look down with my hand pinching the bridge of my nose. the first thing i notice is this person's giant doc martins. he's standing pretty close to me, but i don't blame him since we, just like, collided.

i look up at the voice. no, that's his shirt.

i look even more up. okay, there we go. that's his face. he's hella tall.

i freeze a tiny bit at the sight of him.

oh shit, he's cute.
