Harry has Aspergers.

To top that he also was diagnosed with OCD and can barely function at school, but his mom never has time to teach him at home or pay for someone else.

Trying to help his family with income he finds himself working at a bakery-which was really hard for him to function at but then he meets Louis. The raspy spoken and "rugged" boy that somehow is in Harry's Economics class but he's never seen him before.

Sadly, Louis finds him weird, not knowing that Harry has Aspergers.

And Harry finding something (or someone) that he's interested in, continues to grab Louis' attention even if it means he embarrasses himself in the process.
