"Why..?" I ask, my voice trembling in distrust. I hold my suitcase close.
"Please -Calvin, you can't leave me!" He yells frantically. His eyes full of stress, hope, despair as he cries, something I never thought I'd see on such a gorgeous face. I simply stare at him through my blurry sight, ignoring the rain that falls, drenching me.
"How can I trust that you aren't going to hurt me, like they did.." I say slowly as a try to contain myself. He lets out a deep sigh and he steps closer to me. I start to back up, but I see the genuine sad smile on his face and I lock into place. He grabs my hands carefully and slowly, as if they might break any moment. He is inches from my face.
"You can trust me, because, I am not them." He says quietly his voice full of truth and care as he looks at me with an expression that is very unfamiliar to me. I hug him tightly letting his warm surround me in the cold rain.
"Thank you, Aaron..." I whisper. I can feel him smiles, still looking at me with that unfamiliar expression.
Love.
