*NON-MAGICAL AU* Hogwarts is a large boarding school. Well, that's what it's named. Everyone knows what it really is. Hogwarts was an orphanage. A place for children who have no one to call family is sent and stay until the system finds them a place or they age out. The headmaster of the "school" is a man by the name of Lucius Malfoy. He is very strict, unless you obey, and stay out of trouble. The school is so large, that they were given its own zip code and police station. Lucius's husband is the police chief of their police station, his name is Severus Snape. Shepherd Phillips is a fifteen-year-old who is sent to live in this strict boarding school by the judge after being caught for the last time. How will Shepherd react to the sentencing? What about when he finds out they use corporal punishments?

After the traumatic events of his fourth year, Harry's summer takes a dramatic turn when a heated argument with his uncle causes him to run away. In an unexpected twist, Severus Snape is forced to take Harry in. As they spend more time together, Snape begins to see Harry in a new light, realizing that the boy may not be as much like his father as he once believed. Can a lifetime of animosity be healed over the course of a single summer? (Non-biological Severitus. Warnings: Child abuse and harrassment.) Inspired by a whole lot of great Severitus fics I've read. NONE OF THESE CHARACTERS BELONG TO ME, THEY ARE THE PROPERTY OF JK ROWLING. Thank you for reading!
