In the weeks leading up to the onset of the 3rd World War orchestrated by the Mishima Zaibatsu, Matthiew Tein, an 18-year-old high school student from New Caledonia, embarks on a school trip to Japan. Little does he know that this trip will veer dramatically off course, transforming the mundane life of this young boy in unexpected ways.
Bullied by a group of tormentors, Matthiew finds himself stranded in Japan, with his classmates oblivious to his absence. His initial plan goes awry after missing his flight home, leaving him in dire need of money for his return.
During his quest for a solution, Matthiew stumbles upon Otto, a sentient combat armor created by the Mishima Zaibatsu, and they quickly strike up an unusual friendship. Empowered by Otto's unique upgrades, Matthiew makes a life-altering decision - to enter the perilous King of Iron Fist Tournament, an event known for its danger and anticipation, with the hopes of claiming the grand prize money.
However, as he readies himself for the tournament, a young ninja from the enigmatic Manji clan, Adeline, is tasked with a mission to eliminate the tournament's weaker participants, Matthiew included, in order to facilitate the victory of another contender, Yoshimitsu. This unexpected encounter sets the stage for a high-stakes and action-packed adventure that will challenge Matthiew in ways he never imagined...
Will Matthiew make it out of Japan? To the point of participating in a ruthless, ruleless martial arts tournament?
