Everyone has been searching for the one prophesied hundreds of years ago, an alpha with the eyes of a true wolf, who will rise up to become the one true queen and change the world. Theia Nightingale was born with the yellow eyes of a wolf, so her father kept her locked away to protect her from her so called destiny. Despite his efforts, word of her existence got out and spread like wildfire, bringing threats to her life along with it. After an enemy pack attacks their compound, and their alpha gets killed, Theia is forced to take her place as the new alpha of the Death Moon Pack at the age of eight. With the help of Theia's protector, Nova Washington, she manages to keep threats at bay, all the while she tries to ignore the future destined for her, to someday become the one true queen. That is, until her future appears before her in the form of a male fae who takes her away from her home, her pack, and her protector. Forced to decide which direction to take, Theia must finally choose between going to war against the queen of the fae or turning her back on her destiny for good. *They called her the werewolf queen of blood and darkness. A curse to their lands, a monster. *"Nobody can take me away from you, my love," Nova told her vehemently. "They can try, but I'll move mountains in order to get back to your side, I'll walk through fire, conquer armies, whatever it takes, to be right here with you until the day I take my last breath." Her lips parted at his words as her fingers traced down his rough jaw. "Not even then can you leave me. That's an order." He smirked, brushing his nose against hers. "Yes, little alpha, even after death I'll be with you. Always." **Although marked as completed, this is still considered a first draft. 'Whatever it was, I would face it. Whatever it was, I would win. Something bigger than me had made me a Luna, a figure capable of leadership, of true power. Something had made me his mate, and that didn't count for nothing. It couldn't.' Seventeen-year old Thea Matthews knows nothing beyond the borders of her ordinary, small-town life. With a supportive family and a wonderful best friend, her world is a technicolor dream of hope and happiness. And then disaster strikes, and everything collapses before her very eyes. Forced to pursue a new life in America with her erratic Uncle, Thea notices the impossible--she is suddenly, inexplicably, marked. She has the Sight--a gift that allows her to see into the inner-workings of a world sheathed in shadows, where clawed beasts roam and nightmares run free. With an aggravatingly handsome werewolf on her tail, and the emergence of a darker threat looming over her, can Thea learn to navigate a world of secrets and betrayal?
