Long Live The Empress

The empress-to-be Soraya Sattari was trained from a young age to be the future empress of Tammisha. There was not a soul alive who would say one word against the young and accomplished noblewoman. The house of Sattari would enjoy great influence with an empress upon the throne. That is, until her untimely death before she could ever wear the crown.

To keep the public from panicking, a plot was hatched among a select few to cover up Soraya's death and replace her with her illegitimate half-sister Leila. Leila, a bright and prodigious girl in her own respects, must learn how to be someone she's never met⁠-and do so quickly, or face fatal punishment, as well as the fall of house Sattari.

With the coming social debut of the empress who has come-of-age, Leila must not only figure out the cause of her half-sister's death for her own safety, but become an accomplished woman enough to save face and convince the emperor himself of her worth as a powerful and capable ruler.

Everyone is a suspect, including the emperor himself. Someone wants the empress dead and Leila must take matters into her own hands to not only preserve her own life, but change her fate.
