"A-A yōkai?!" I stammered, keenly aware of the blade pressed against my throat.
"Human," he growled, his fangs flashing violently, almost like a promise, "what are you doing here."
The way he said it made his words sound more like an order than a question.
"I- uh- Cora-san-!"
"Don't lie to me."
An animalistic growl ripped through the air, and I stiffened when I felt the cold steel press further into my neck.
I willed myself to start breathing again, but my body had frozen while my brain was screaming to just bolt.
My body shook from the cold, but all well as fear. I clutched onto the warm jacket on my shoulders and became brave.
"I wasn't going to lie!" I exclaimed, my breath hitching once I felt the sharp pain of my skin being cut, "But I think I made a wrong turn somewhere so I'm just gonna go!"
It nearly took all of my courage to jolt away from the sword and duck under it before sprinting toward the doorway before two tiny floating people got in my way and blocked the exit.
"Master God!!!" The one with a penguin hat yelled, "You just got here, you can't go!!!"
"You must stay and fix the shrine!!!" The other one yelled, his orca hat taking up a majority of his face.
"I'm certain I made a mistake somewhere! I should just go-!"
Suddenly, a blue film wrapped around the entire rundown shrine, and I fell onto the ground.
"What the-!"
"Where did you get that jacket!?"

Whoops! What a predicament (Y/n) has gotten themselves into! How are they ever going to fix all of this?
