Merida and Rapunzel have gained entry into their academy exclusive advanced programme which is guaranteed to set them up for successful careers doing what they love, dance.
However the stress between their relationships reaches a peek when they must compete each other to secure the best dance partner that will help them rise to the top among so many talented dancers.

Hiccup, Merida's long time friend at the academy lost his place in the advanced programme and instead finds himself in the new 'development' programme after a fateful accident the year before.

With new students arriving at the academy for the advanced programme, everyone is in a titter about the new dancers and are eager to see what they can do.

Jack Overland is new to the North ballet academy and is just trying to forget the scandal at his last school and start fresh, however he is unprepared for the onslaught of women competing to be his partner when it gets out that he was the one who won the male scholarship this year.
