The galaxy is a big, scary place. It is unspeakably old: more history has been forgotten than will ever be written down. It is unbelievably vast: hundreds of billions of stars exist in just this one galaxy, surrounded by trillions of planets. And it is uncontestably dangerous: empires, creatures, supernatural powers, guns, swords, armies, legions, sorcerers, monsters, machines, ships, weapons... all horrors waiting to kill you.

Unless, of course, you're prepared to strike back.

The DTGVerse is a galaxy far beyond our own, filled with warring factions, strange technology, and mysterious origins. Inspired by the innovative design work of DTG Figures, the DTGVerse chronicles the exotic weapons, amazing tech, and wild lore of this unusual place.

Book 1: Precursor sets the stage, as a series of seemingly isolated events begin the unraveling of carefully laid plans... and the dawning of a new, darker era.

20 years ago, the world was on the brink of extinction when the Galactic Federation saved Earth. Since then, humans pledged our loyalty to serve them. Human's connection with one of the higher beings in the universe, resulted in Earth's civilization rising to a higher level. Two decades passed and new generations rose. I, Alexa Stanfield, a 20-year-old college student, found out that the Galactic Federation saved Earth for a dark purpose. For two decades, we've been conscripted and nurtured under the guise of care, only to unveil our grim fate as pawns in an Intergalactic conflict, thrust into a war we never signed up for. The previous species that Galactic Federation sent were annihilated quickly. Therefore, they were forced to use us, as their new human army, opposing the plan's timing. My friends and I were selected as candidates with the resilience to withstand mind manipulation. We endured an intense training regimen that was more like a deadly game of survival. The Federation believed that this was the only way to prepare us for the war since they have no time to waste on conventional methods. My friends and I share an unbreakable bond and loyalty, soon to be challenged by the most harrowing trials. Armed with only our school learning and raw life experiences, we'll face murder, death, sacrifices, and betrayal. A kid, old, man, or woman, there's no exception, regardless of age or gender. Our training ground? Safira, a verdant moon planet. This is the story of our involvement in the most intense training of our lives.

Exams, no girlfriend, a cantankerous grandfather - George has it tough. And that's even before the assassins come for him, he discovers the magical sword stashed in the attic, and finds out he's responsible for saving a world he didn't even know existed. Talk about pressure. Fantasy and reality collide, as George battles to save his life, his family and - well, pretty much everything - from the forces of evil, while hopefully also addressing the no-girlfriend problem. Unless, that is, he gets killed to death first. Which would at least sort out the exams issue.
