Natalie Moore believed she might be the only survivor in a world full of zombies. But, when she catches a radio signal proving she wasn't the only human left, but maybe a whole "city" of them. Natalie along with Baker, her golden retriever, plan to leave their home behind to find this survivor's camp. Before they leave, Natalie is visited by an older woman in need of help. Natalie, in trying to find her lost family and the survivor's camp, learns that this apocalypse is more supernatural than she thought.

Scientists have discovered how to transfer an animal's DNA into humans, creating Miracle Juice; an injectable serum filled with heritable animal traits. With this power, humans could be cured of chronic illnesses, increase lifespan, and correct disabilities. Humans will become nearly indestructible organisms. Eighteen-year-old Juliet Harper was born with an impaired amygdala, which has erased her emotion of fear. Danger has become an addiction. She likes to live life dangerously, blind to whether or not she will see tomorrow's sun. When a series of unfortunate events sends her life plummeting into constant danger, even a risk-fiend like Juliet might be in over her head. Forced to survive through both a school shooting and the release of a violent, failed medicine, Juliet creates intricate relationships she had previously been able to avoid. All Rights Reserved.
