Any Power that Remains

Hein only has his name and the white cell around him when the brother-sister duo Zourej and Zeidri break him out under mysterious circumstances. Mystified about his own origin and purpose, Hein follows them willingly, despite his deep mistrust of two strangers who have freed him for no other reason than their own good will. When he discovers that they come from one of the biggest Slave Tribes - Tribes known for marketing the various talents of their children, and for selling those gifted children to the highest bidder - he has a reckoning with his own power and realizes that the gifts given to his new companions may be more than anyone else has foreseen.
