Lies You Told

(THIS IS NOT TO BE ROMANTICIZED‼️)

Adaline, 24, and Kev, 26, live in a destroyed and broken world, a world that's been like this for years now. Where there was barely anyone left and the air was, dangerous. That's what Kev told her at least. And she had no reason to not believe him. How they survived such dangerous air. Kev claimed they were luckily, immune.

But while Kev went out to bring back food and supplies. Sometimes coming back with nothing. He forced Adaline to stay at the cabin they lived in, and threatened her that if she disobeyed, he'd do worse than hit her, it isn't all sunshine and rainbows between them after all.

Deep in the forest, away from anyone and anything. He claimed it was dangerous for her. That people that did survive were crazy. It was safer for only one person to go. Those were his reasons

So she stayed. Sometimes tending to her garden. Reading books. Watching repeats of shows. Cleaning. Anything. She was, lonely, becuz sometimes he was gone for a day, or two. Maybe more.

So what happens when she decides to leave the cabin while he's away? What could go wrong?
