"i love you." the words came out of his mouth in a rush. i froze in my place, my heart stuttering. i tried to wrap my mind around what he had said, the déjà vu beyond distracting. finally i came to the only conclusion i could.
"you're full of shit." i said. my throat got tight. i started to back away, avoiding his hands as they reached out, attempting to pull me into him. i turned around and left before he could see me cry.
