Meet Maddie, a 16 year old girl. She has an Abusive father, and an alcoholic mother. She smokes and cuts herself, but stopped thanks to her friends. Her best friends Jane, Amber, and Luke are her only real family. Then there's Montana, a popular and rich girl who hates Maddie, but loves Luke. When Maddie meets Luke's bandmates Ashton, Calum, and Michael, will she fall in love again? Or will her heart be broken again? Will she fall back into her old habits? Will her and Montana become friends?

"Emo Freak!" Montana called to me, Amber, and Jane. "Ignore her, Maddie." Luke says. "Thanks, Lukey." I say. "Anytime for my best friend!'' He says, happily. I smile at him and he returns it. "I'm so lucky to have a friend like you." I say.
