Hazel Martinez, was always a happy girl until one terrible night ruined her life forever. Fast forward a few years later, her parents are fed up with her depression and decide to send her to North Carolina to start a new life. There her life will begin to take a turn for the better after she goes to a party where an incident with Nash Grier will start to change her fate. 
    
    Later both Hazel and Nash begin to develop feelings for each other. Feelings that Hazel feels are forbidden to her because of her mysterious past. It's then that Nash realizes that it's up to him to find out Hazel's secret along with trying to break down her internal wall, all while showing her that two is better than one.
